About this Talk
Audiobooks have enjoyed double-digit growth for the last 12 years - with no sign of slowing down. Many independently published authors don't know where to begin when it comes to creating an audiobook - which is what this presentation will cover. Members will learn the basics of audiobook production, including *Narration: Author Voice or Professional Narrator? *Recording Options *Distribution Options *Using Your Audiobook Assets. I'll also include options for those wanting to bootstrap the process! Finally, I'll touch on adapting your book for audio (how to handle quotes, charts, graphs, footnotes - and dialogue) Don't worry - there will be plenty of time left for questions - that's always my favorite part!
In this session, authors and publishers at any stage of their publishing journey will learn about the exploding audiobook market and different options for creating an audiobook that will
enhance their bottom line and enable them to reach the fastest growing segment of the publishing industry - those that read with their ears.
