About this speaker

Rachel E. Robinson hails from the Windy City of Chicago Il. She currently resides in the Pacific Northwest. Her knowledge of conventions stems from attending and helping to run them. Rachel’s roles included track lead, second for programming, and Head of Programming.

She holds degrees in Accounting, Business Administration, Digital Film and Video, and is a certified event planner. Also, a Tax Analyst during tax season.

As an independent writer, under the pseudonym Maquel A. Jacob, she has three different series. Her stories revolve around fluid beings in an ocean of stars seen through the human lens. Social Sci-Fi with a bit of romance and a touch of gore. Her series dive into space drama, Dystopia, Post-Apocalyptic, and classism. You can find any of her short stories in Boundary Shock Quarterly along with various collections and anthologies.

Her love of Anime, music, and wine keeps her entertained when not honing her craft.
